Costa Cruises – Costa Europa
Costa's newest ship, the Costa Europa, offers her guests an unsurpassed level of style. Costa Europa’s 2002 cruise programme will offer Guests various alternatives aimed at the discovery of the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
Costa Europa is an exclusive ship that stands out on account of her classical and elegant style. The main feature of the Costa Europa is the clever combination of spacious lounges and cosy corners in a classy atmosphere. The outside areas are also vast and comfortable with 2 swimming pools, one with a sliding roof, 2 Jacuzzis and a sports centre with two multi-purpose courts.
The Costa Europa is the first of four ships which will be added to the Costa Cruises fleet by the end of 2004, in accordance with an expansion programme entailing a total investment of over 1.5 billion euros. The Costa Europa will be followed in the summer of 2003 by the Costa Mediterranea, the sister of the flagship Costa Atlantica, currently under construction at the Finnish Kvaerner Masa-Yards. At the end of 2003 the Costa Fortuna – the first of the two 105,000 gross tonnage vessels commissioned from Fincantieri in Genoa Sestri – will make her debut; at the end of 2004, with the entry into service of her sister ship Costa Magica, the Costa fleet will reach a total capacity of around 19,000 passengers.
Cabins:
Each cabin features a mini-bar, television, radio, hair dryer and an in-room safe. Staterooms all feature cheerful designer fabrics and a spacious environment of comfortable living space. Most ocean view cabins feature a balcony
Suites:
Italian-inspired suites feature all the comforts of home and butler-style service that the most experienced travellers will enjoy. Hand-woven bedspreads, terry-cloth robes and whirlpool bathtubs ensure a perfect night's rest, while spacious sitting areas and private verandas sporting reclining deck chairs offer a panoramic view of the sea.
