Carnival Cruise Line – Carnival Glory
The new 110,000-ton Carnival Glory has become Port Canaveral's largest cruise ship. This 2,974-Passenger ‘Fun Ship’ launched year-round seven-day Caribbean cruises from Central Florida port in July 2003.
Among the largest passenger vessels ever constructed, the 952-foot-long Carnival Glory will provide an exciting new cruise option from Port Canaveral, with 14 passenger decks housing 22 bars and lounges, a 15,000-square-foot health club, four swimming pools and three restaurants, including an upscale "steakhouse-style" supper club serving U.S.D.A. prime beef and other gourmet cuisine.
Carnival Glory will also feature numerous "family-friendly" amenities, including an expansive 3,300-square-foot play area and family recreation area featuring a teen club and video game room, perfect for a ship based year-round at Port Canaveral, which typically attracts a higher concentration of families because of its proximity to Central Florida attractions.
